At Wheatley Montessori, we believe that every child has boundless potential. Founded in 2015 by Sharon Bennett and Sylvia Blassengale, our school was born from a shared passion for nurturing young learners. With backgrounds in education, special needs, and counseling, our founders recognized the need for a Montessori-based preschool in the Upstate South Carolina area. Together with our Montessori AMI Certified director, Colin Blassengale, they created a warm, enriching environment where children ages 3-6 can thrive.

Sharing the Vision

The team at Wheatley Montessori School shares the vision that early preparation is essential and that the Montessori method is the most effective means in educating students, preparing them to meet the rigor and demands of the academic world. The Montessori method helps children become better-prepared world citizens.
